				<title>BioFueled 2009/2010 Season</title>
				<link>http://seatosummit.net/blog/client/index.cfm/2010/6/10/B50-Bioblends--Sustainable-Wine-Tours</link>
				<description>

				Sea to Summit operated primarily on a B20 Bio-blend with no cold related issues during the 2009/2010 winter ski season. While it was generally a warm season due to the El-Nino weather patterns, the cold temps and long awaited powder dumps finally arrived just in time for Oregon &amp; Washington spring breaks.

Crystal Mt received over 70 inches of fresh powder during the seasons 2 weeks of winter storms. Avalanche transceivers, back country gear and our crews grins ear to ear, there was no better place to enjoy waist deep powder than the steeps of Crystal Mt. Washington!

Fortunately enough, consecutive El-Nino seasons are very rare and we look forward to much colder temps and many more cold winter storm systems in the 2010/2011 winter season.

Sea to Summit will be frequently running a B50 bio-blend for our sightseeing and sustainable wine and brewery tours this summer. We will be highlighting our certified sustainable friends at Sokol Blosser, Stoller and Bridgeport with exclusive in depth sustainable vineyard &amp; brewery tours and tastings. Book your Oregon Wine Tours and summer adventures now and Enjoy your summer~

unfortunately, its been a warm start to 2010 but colder temps are on the horizon and in the forecast!

Sea to Summit believes skiing and snowboarding should always be a fun experience for our clients and therefore riding the rain is simply not acceptable... We believe in keeping our customers informed on all levels, including poor weather like unfortunate rain spells.

Sorry about the occasional limited service, ethics...
Friends, don&apos;t let friends, ride in the rain~

				<title>Clean, Green, Mountain Machine is Here!</title>
				<link>http://seatosummit.net/blog/client/index.cfm/2009/10/31/Clean-Green-Mountain-Machine-is-Here</link>
				<description>

				Sea to Summit Tours &amp; Adventures recently flew one of its guides out to the east coast to pick up one of Fords &quot;Clean Technology&quot; Super Duty Diesels...increase in performance with a sharp decrease in particulates and emissions! When Sea to Summit&apos;s transformation is fully complete, this will be the ultimate Mountain Machine!

The new diesel rig will be in 4x4 conversion for the next few weeks and ready for the 09/10 ski season. Sea to Summit is stoked to have the new turbo diesel, because like a Sherpa...they are the best at high altitudes!!!

Locating, financing, converting to 4x4 and equipping Sea to Summit&apos;s specialized vehicles is expensive and time consuming, but customer safety and our reliability is everything!!! Sea to Summit&apos;s guides are experienced, knowledgeable and have logged over 1000 trips to Pacific NW Ski areas, since 2001

For more &quot;Clean Technology&quot; Bio-diesel info visit:   green.autoblog.com

 All the more reasons why Sea to Summit Tours &amp; Adventures, one of Oregon&apos;s most informative tour companies is also &quot;Portland&apos;s Premier Ski &amp; Mt Shuttle Service&quot;

				<title>Sea to Summit &amp; Bio Diesel..........</title>
				<link>http://seatosummit.net/blog/client/index.cfm/2009/10/2/Sea-to-Summit--Bio-Diesel</link>
				<description>

				Ford is finally coming out with a reliable turbo charged diesel engine that is bio diesel compatible!!! Sea to Summit, created and owned by native Oregonians has always recognized the importance of cleaner and greener practices and this is just what we have been waiting for...

2001 when Sea to Summit was created, our first rigs were 7.3 liter diesels that we would run B20 bio diesel in and it worked great. After 150,000 miles it was time to upgrade to 4x4 and Fords diesels were having major engine issues, so we opted for the reliability of the Triton V10&apos;s

 Ford has finally realized the importance of clean diesel vehicles and Sea to Summits order has already been made. When the rigs arrive they will need to go to 4x4 conversion for a few weeks, as safety and reliability are always Sea to Summits highest priority!

Over the years Sea to Summit looks forward to converting all its vehicles to Clean, Green, Mt. Machines~

				<description>

				Wow, that was fast... the rains have returned and snow levels have already dropped for the first time this fall. While snow levels won&apos;t stay low for long, hopefully it is a promising sign for a awesome winter to come!

It has been a while since we have blogged in...just busy! If Sea to Summit was not busy providing informative sightseeing tours, wine &amp; brewery tours, surfing lessons or rafting trips, the crew was enjoying the Pacific NW summer to the fullest...Camping, Surfing, Boating, Fishing, Diving, etc...gotta love summer!

slow season is here, more to come.....

				<title>Crystal Mountain Trip</title>
				<link>http://seatosummit.net/blog/client/index.cfm/2009/3/20/Crystal-Mt</link>
				<description>

				Crystal Mt. is Sea to Summit&apos;s absolute favorite resort when the conditions are right and they were this past week! Crystal Mt had recieved 90 inches of snow since march 1st and 40 inches in 48 hours just prior to our arrival earlier this week, we made it just in time...

Crystal Mt. offers long steep fall lines, bowls, chutes and double black diamond terrain throughout the resort. From the King, Queen and Throne to Snorting Elk Bowl, New North way Chair and Crystal&apos;s Endless Back country...Crystal Mt. is the best in the west!

Weather permitting, we may have one more window for a epic Crystal Mt. trip, before the season is over. Sea to Summit caters to groups of 8 or more for Crystal Mt. trips and they are 2-4 day trips, all inclusive. If this is something of interest for family, friends or corporate events, please just inquire and we can give your group a personalized Crystal Mt. quote.

Lots of great pictures were taken at Crystal this past trip and they will be uploaded when we get the Sea to Summit Tours &amp; Adventures photo gallery dialed... someday?
